Student Uses 3D Printer to Save District Money

An unexpected benefit of their engineering and manufacturing classes came for Laurel Highlands High School when student Tanner Hauger used the school’s 3D printer to reproduce parts for the district’s fire doors and heating units – potentially saving the district $10,000 or more.
