Congratulations to SUNY New Paltz on their new 3D Printing Superlab and “SMART” lab designation!

The State University of New York at New Paltz (SUNY New Paltz) and The Hudson Valley Advanced Manufacturing Center opened their new 3D Printing Superlab on June 22, 2016.
The lab features an impressive array of advanced Stratasys 3D printers – including an industrial-grade Objet260 Connex multi-material 3D Printer, a Fortus 400mc Production 3D Printer, two Dimension units, and over 40 MakerBot 3D Printers. This combination of high-end PolyJet and FDM technology adds up to making this one of the country’s most advanced 3D printing Superlabs. Stratasys has also designated the lab as one of their “SMART” Labs (Stratasys MakerBot Additive Research & Teaching).
SUNY New Paltz students as well as the surrounding community and businesses will have access to the lab. The aim being to push the boundaries of an interdisciplinary educational experience as well as encouraging new business and economic growth to the Hudson Valley.
